can i read this without reading the other manhwa?

YES!!!!!!! And please don't!! (I hate the seme in Kiss Me, Liar). The semes will seem like they're from entirely different universes. One sleeps with everything in his sight and is still a dickhead, and one is really mentally ill, so the stories are completely different. They only intertwine when their children meet in one of the side stories of the other one. Otherwise, the seme from the other one will appear, but he's the CEO of the agency I believe, so it's not important to read the other one.

NOT A PROBLEM AT ALL SWEETHEART!!! That is so fair!! There are a few things I forgot to mention ahhh. Keith from the other manhwa hates Josh I think, since they've interacted a few times (he does come up in this story like I mentioned, because I believe he's the CEO of the entertainment company that Chase is making the movie for), and at one point in the novel, they talk about how Keith was marked by an omega that ran away (this is referring to the uke of kiss me, liar, who marked him and ran away) and finally, a few of the side characters like Chase's brother Grayson might have appeared in Kiss me, liar. Overall, if you don't really care about Keith and stuff and don't want a forceful lobotomy from having to read Kiss me, liar, and I think just reading this story will give you enough context. Reading the other story will simply give you some lore on a few side characters (like Keith, who is a major asshole and his secretary uke who appears briefly in this stories' novel), but not the main characters. It would honestly save you half of your brain to not read Keith's whole lore and observe them as side characters for this story. :)

and grayson still ended up with the guy that caused his brother trauma??? okay why am i not surprised though.. AND THANK YOU SM FOR ALL THE ADDITIONAL INFO!! i don’t think i’ll undergo a forced lobotomy since the story makes sense on its own so far.. maybe when and if i have enough brain cells to spare, i may try to revisit kiss me, liar

okay, and just for more clarification for you, I have found more info. Don't worry, I think this is the last message that I'm going to send *crying*. I want to make sure that my info is 100% accurate and I'm not accidentally misleading people.
This is what someone else said, that I looked into and confirmed and completely forgot about: Josh is unironically the best character in the story and does show up in KML as the bodyguard that helps MC before he crashes out outside a party. He's the brother of one of the secretaries that work w MC [I forgot that Emma, Josh's sister works with Keith], eventually helping MC escape/set up an abortion app/find a place to lay low after ML put out a bounty on MC. Haven't read the sides (still recovering from reading the main story)

i’m on chapter 42 but i’m starting to feel bad for won gae as much as i love the emperor.. i hate the misunderstanding trope because if it wasn’t for the misunderstanding, everything would’ve been okay between them but i love love love the empreror to me. can someone tell me if it gets better?? i can’t stand feeling torn so i’m going to pick this up when it’s completed

i’m kind of confused by the translations of ch 8. pages 28 to 30. what are they trying to tell? if anyone that understood and got the gist could maybe explain that would be great!! and i’m actually super glad that this is getting translated, online translator or not it’s understandable for the most part so thank you (▰˘◡˘▰)

Beryl felt lonely because Viryl never requests Beryl to do things that benefited Viryl. He only asked things to Beryl for the sake of Beryl's own good (Beryl's growth and health), which made Beryl felt like he's no use to Viryl. He feels like he's the only one benefiting from their relationship.
So when Shaia asked Beryl to "need him" and be Beryl's priority, Beryl feels like he's needed and he's useful for Shaia. Thus makes him feel like he's not in a one-sided relationship

i’m ngl. i usually avoid gl because reading manhwa and manga is an escape for me and the glaring misogyny in gl just snaps me back into how the world really is and it makes me contemplate way too hard. so it’s not that i don’t like gl, it’s just hard for me to read because to me it’s so realistic and reflective of my life. and i’m sure many other women’s life asw full of misogyny. i just came for a lighthearted read without having to meet more misogyny that i already notice and experience irl. but its good to digest it in this format too, this gl was exceptional in terms of depicting misogyny and made me contemplate a bit. i’m not done reading it yet but i just wanted to share my current thoughts and feelings and see if anyone relates? if this even makes sense, it’s 1am right now and i should be sleeping

seoan wondering why woowon couldn’t just break away from his father was kind of hypocritical when reflected with his own home situation. you can’t be frustrated at woowon when it was never his choice to begin with when he’s had to live that way his whole life. and ww even mentioned this, i’m glad he stood up for himself. other than that, i love these two so so much and i see myself in both of them as depressing as that sounds. life is hard, but it has its beauties. can’t wait for the next season
SOCIAL WORK??? I AM GOING TO FUCK SOMEONE UP. people with hearing disabilities are people just the same as he is. he’s lower than a person for me rn because he said that. i can’t stand close minded characters even if he just said that without much thought in the heat of the moment, that arguably makes it worse for me
