I also don’t really like him, personally! I think all around it’s not because he’s a bad person, or he did anything wrong, I think he’s just oblivious to other people’s feelings at times. It could be due to naivety but I feel like his “care” is too shallow for Skylar or Cirrus to feel heard by him and want to be close- which is ultimately why I feel that Skylar developed feelings for Cirrus and vice versa. They actually got to know each other and started to care about each other on a realer level, and when you make a serious effort like that it’s obvious and tangible. Chan-Il just seems like a really shallow friend.
