Loses his memories and after a brief accidental meeting with Penelope in the future, i think he goes to a place she recommended? Somewhere he won't be held accountable for his crimes.

For about 3 or 2 years I think? She kept on following Penelope (because at this time Penelope is travelling as an archaeologist) and protects her w/o ofc the knowledge of Penelope.

So Eclis betrayed penelope and she gives him the slave ring, and cut off their relationship. Eclis is in despair because he loves/obsessed of penelope. At the end of the story, there's a war led by Yvonne and eclis joined her. ( I think he joined in condition that he have penelope and during that time eclis tried to kidnap penelope) btw, eclis is the prince of the country that have lost in the war and become a slave. While he trained swordsmanship outside, he has been gathering his former comrade. So back to the war, eclis is missing after the war finished. They can't even find his body. In the side story, eclis and penelope met again, but eclis lost his memories. At that time, he saved her from a monster. He told her, he's been following her for some time, because he felt an 'attraction' to her. After that, eclis left and i think they never meet again? Penelope thinks it's better that he doesn't remember anything since it's a painful memories for him.

He deserves so much better... ig he’s just one of the yandare type
