sorry i read this manga so much and now i think i forgot. the title is "i will become the heroes rival" but who again was the hero and who was the heroine?
The “heroes” in the title are talking about the three villains, meaning the heroine would be Claudia based off the original novel. But the hero of the actual story is Felix and the heroine is Irene.
Look at her all happy after telling Violet her side. Ma'am you still left him in the end. You can be understood at most but that doesn't mean you deserve the forgiveness. Children shouldn't have to suffer from their parent's mistake but such is life I guess.
If anything, I hope that through knowing this, Winter will be able to understand what his mom went through, put the blame on her (as she rightfully deserves) and over time let go of the thought that he was abandoned because he was not worthy of love. It's not him, it's just the circumstances.

Just.. I wish there weren't T/Ns every other page. I find some of them funny but it's too frequent and a bit distracting. Couldn't take the chapter seriously.
