it would be better if he's a sociopath as sociopaths are the way they are due to their upbringing & environment but psychopaths like kang moo are like that since they're kids. sociopaths with low control & impulse are sociopaths. and sociopaths can care for someone but the cache is they don't care at all about other people they don't care for. psychopaths can love no one. i wonder how this is gonna end.
Psychopaths do not fall in love as far as I know from my studies. They can also not learn to FEEL empathy. They can calculate and analyse and react upon what they know they have to do to "seem like they feel empathy", but they can never truly feel it. They are born with the inability to feel empathy. Sociopaths, as you say, are made like that from early childhood traumas. So anyone expecting anything from a Psychopath....bruh...nope. Does not mean they are all criminals or something, but yeah.
