you are right, when I read this I feel nauseating, what disgusting story!!!
how can someone call this novel or shoujo romance? even more how can people call this love? I don't see love anywhere!!! the end is outrageous, I only see sex, lust, violence, those abominable things, but never love and logic, in this story the man is sick, and the woman double sick, she doesn't feel love is obsession and insanity, after that man make such violence to her is imposible for any human begin (man or woman) to feel love, or because she forgive him love will blossom, that way of thinking is sickness. I wonder what is the point of this story, what is the vision of world from women, for all shoujos are like that. Sadly is true in real life exist this kind of women but they are in psychiatrist or treatment psychologist, because there is not normal person can take such violence and live happily ever after even if the person forgive, but never forget.
In the novel or shoujos of Diana Palmer, all women are pretty plastic dolls, all women fell in love only because men are handsome, all they can take violence and the next day smile like nothing happened, but the most outrageous thing is in the end all women married that violent man, is ok to forgive in order to continue living without such heave pain, but after that love will blossom, feel love or fell in love is imposible for a sane and normal human.
I wonder if Diana Palmer is woman? a man? or gay? to written such sickening novels and call them romance? or story of love? what is her vision of a woman, all her/ his females are weak, lack of determination, self esteem, pride, intelligent, full of stupidity, etc. Maybe she has that kind of story but without her "happy ending" ?
The Virgen Maria would be sad and ashamed because she is woman.

I'm sorry, that's not what i really meant. I was young and still new to the English Language. I meant to say a "pathetically created character" when it comes to personality and a rather dumb plot.
