The contract that she made with the duchess stating that she would become Arabella in exchange for the Salvatore protecting her until she becomes an adult. She wants to change the contract to, instead of just protecting her and then her leaving when she becomes an adult, staying with the Salvatore family forever. Honestly for someone as intelligent as she is, the fact that she's missing the big pic so much here is baffling. As if any of those over protective relatives of her would cast her aside just because of some contract. Show me Beth or Entei letting her go on her merry way just because she becomes an adult. Hell, they'll probably keep her under lock and key until she's 30.
