The thing is she would have died before the child even lived. It would have been different if she could survive til birth but she wasn’t so it was a hard choice..
Yeah this is my only issue with the way they framed this particular plotline. Damien even said it himself, “you much live to give BIRTH to our child.”
The whole point was the illness was very likely to kill her BEFORE she had the chance to have the child, and she was still so early in pregnancy there was no telling she’d be able to hold out months to go into labor. She wouldn’t have had the kid regardless.
It would have made way more sense if the issue was she’d die in childbirth, which would have prompted Damien to pick between the two and force her hand. But in this scenario, he technically would have lost them both because of her sickness. just my thoughts. I can understand her still wanting to divorce him, especially because of the other things she found out about him, but I can really blame him much for this instance.
What a waste of side stories we could have done without them for that kind of ending..
His reaction to him asking him to just cut off part 2 the sex with customers was kinda wild? Like the way he got defensive was suspect as hell. Unless I’m missing something as there’s still room for his back story cause it’s like it’s a want not a need to do the sex part…
Someone said it’s revealed in future that he has debts to pay off and he also does sex with clients only so they feel “wanted”. He wants others to feel valid and wanted by someone as they wish to be. MC is getting more insecure, I hope they resolve this. MC doesn’t want ML to quit his job, just don’t do sex. He can do stripping.

So I read a spoiler were he administered the medicine and she does miscarry she’s devastated but her life is saved and she’s mad at him but my question is for those who read the novel or know more if she didn’t take the medicine would she have died before the child was even born?

The people defending rashta is kinda crazy…you can be sympathetic for her to a point but her having that girls tongue cut out and sending an assassination attempt to naivers parents was okay? Be so serious right now. Navier tried to teach her but unfortunately she was so prideful and honestly stupid to listen. Instead of humbling herself she did the opposite I can blame the people around her sure but at some point she needs to be held accountable for some of the stuff she’s done at this point. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
Fr there are many ppl irl who have abusive or traumatic past but are good natured ppl. Atleast as the victim one should try not to bevome the same as their abuser otherwise the cycle will go on forever

But they are not. All the people here talking about rashta (including me) are just feeling bad for her. Saying "hey, she's had a horrible life and she's not entirely responsible for her situation" doesn't equal saying she's not responsible for her actions.

I’m not sure what we are feeling about? She kicked navier out of being queen and became queen herself. She used what she had to get ahead. Where and when besides the incident with her child I’m not sure where else we are suppose to feel bad?
Personally I feel bad for her overall, because she is being used by everyone. Sovieshu using her as an incubator and duke ergi manipulating her. Also, her being born a slave and being abandoned by her father
