At this point I think Haewon’s “happy ending” should just be him offing himself or by some miracle running away. I want either a tragic ending where no one wins or a somewhat satisfying ending where Haewon escapes… I’m guessing neither one will be met tho

Well he did fail 3 of his subjects finals in one chapter. And he said he wanted to spend the summer sleeping, so you would think he would have spent the minimum amount of effort to pass if he was “school smart”.
Maybe he’s never actually tried and is smart, but I think it’s probably that academics aren’t his skill. He even said while studying he basically needed help in all the subjects except gym lol.
I think he has a knack for studying but just isn't interested at all in class before megumi. But now he has a motivation to actually study, like he a fast learner or something.
