dude, I do art commissions and my art is way behind compared to this author when someone uses my art (just a one page art) it's frustrating specially since I spend hours just for that piece, it leads me to depression. Now imagine the author with this level of art being distributed illegally... ok?

it turns out she wasnt even saying she felt suicidal cause of Piracy in general, rather she (like so many artists) complained about her work being pirated. AND THEN this happened:

and THEN: "She tweeted a screenshot of the group and her response was like “you’re killing me. I want to die. Please stop. I want to die”"
so That's why she said that, people kept trying to paint her as melodramatic or doing it for attention/sympathy points without even knowing the whole story. she was legit being HARASSED. it was beyond just theft of her work. i feel so sad for her. like wtf is wrong with ppl? at times like this its so clearly not about being unable to afford paying and more about feeling entitled to others work for free. fuckin sickening.

She didn't stutter or made a mistake in her words when she said she feels suicidal over the harrassment of the illegal uploaders and the illegal uploading itself. She tweeted it in english ffs.

But to expound on what happened. Some illegal uploaders are tagging and adding the author in messages on her work being illegally uploaded, these people rubbed it in her face that her works are being stolen that's why she was feeling suicidal. Not just the illegal uploads on itself, she had to be messaged on these things as well as if to add salt to injury.
no one is saying ur required to care but idk if u've ever been the target of bullying or harassment. but as someone who was def bullied alot (irl only thank gad, never online as im a nobody and want to remain so) as a kid i can tell you feeling suicidal over it is a perfectly common and not unreasonable response. esp when this isnt JUST harassment (which in itself is painful) but also people stealing her work and laughing about it. how can u dismiss her being upset about this? maybe its an Overreaction to you but since you[ve never been in her place with this kind of targetted harassment and theft of your work then ur not in any place to judge her tbh. if u buy her work then great, her comments then were NOT about you and this drama going on in the comments is also not about YOU or others who buy the work, or even just use this website. its about people disregarding her feelings, engaging in behavior that could get this site even more heat than it gets already and also many feeling entitled to people's labor for free. if none of those describe u then feel free to say Nothing. thnx
