I see a lot of reviews about how so many readers hate how selfish everyone is being, and I want to politely disagree. I love how the characters are moving, if only because I’ve been witness to literally almost every manhwa’s meek, dependent, weak willed characters gaining mass popularity for doing absolutely not a thing. I don’t know if the plot itself is to my taste, however, as it’s slow, but I’ll hang on and see where it goes.
Some people like that, and while it's hella boring (because it's flat, shallow if you will) to me; good for them if they're happy!
But yeah, i'm glad some authors are trying to create interesting character dynamics, because that's my personal taste.
There's nothing wrong with re-using what's been done before, but when characters/events/plot points have been made thousands of times before and you can guess the end of the story by the 10 first chapters? (jinx's obviously not the only one in this case, no shade to the author once again.) well it's too bad but i just lose interest.
Here the characters had a more equal power dynamic because of how they control and manipulate each other and it was nice to see their relationship unfold because of that!
I really appreciate the scanners and translators for doin thankless work. But damn, this thing is long for no reason. One conversation takes up like seven chapters and each chapter feels like you’re seeing about five minutes of the plot and then everything happens off screen. The reader only gets a rushed explanation in the next chapter. Idk man. The art is good tho.and so is the staff that’s translating this.
Bro, that one couple takes up so much screen time and how the author placed it is… bad. I love all the characters and their plots but a happy scene will be happening and then BAM something super traumatic and tragic will take place in the next panel. Like damn bro I’m getting whiplash. They should separate the stories entirely so we can really dig into the plot, or just pace it so that the general moods match.
Also this man is 29, TWENTY NINE. He’s had a lot of time growing and being an adult and he still can’t communicate? Nothing wrong with what he’s feelings, but that’s wild that you want Seungho to stop following you, and then he finally agrees, I bet, I BET he’s gonna be all sad about it like??? JUST TELL HIM????

Heads up, don’t get attached to the art style. It changes later. Whether or not you like the change is a matter of opinion, but I swear by chapter 30 it felt like I was reading some other story.
Ooh okay.
May i get a link where you read it pls?
