Ok so this is a great story with fantastic characters, lore, and meaty plot. The author did an amazing job. However, it’s … a lot of dialogue (w/ little action) to get through. A chapter a week barely gives enough substance for the reader to stay consistently enthusiastic about the progress. It feels slow due to pacing, even though I know the pacing is necessary for the story to be fleshed out.
It’s amazing, but I’m gonna have to put this on hold until it’s finished because my interest waned at the slow crawl, though I know it won’t be like that once the whole thing is done.
