I pity her really, but seriously?? The girl needs therapy and a hard slap to wake her up. She's literally acting crazy because of A DUDE. and I hope YOU remember this in your day to day life, that JUST BECAUSE something isn't someone's fault, does not absolve them of the responsibility of treating others right. If they treat you badly, don't let them get away with it. Because guess what? You deserve better.

Been through so many toxic relationships. If someone treats you like this, please leave them. Your parents didn't spend (however many years) treating you right and investing in you and sacrificing (whatever) just for you to allow someone else to disrespect their hard work. Your parents love you. Your friends love you.

You should only accept good and healthy love.

@bunnybubz, I agree with you! Jihyun is a sad boi but gawd I wish Yohan ended up with someone who treats him better. If you know any stories like that please recommend bevause I'm pretty sure this story will not go in that direction lol.

I know... ONE. but the art style is a little old, but it features a similar dynamic where the top is toxic (but loves the bottom), so the bottom has to leave him for a better person :)

I really like "leaving the toxic lover for real" stories but they are so rare T.T I think the only one I have read is "Sabita Yoru Demo Koi wa Sasayaku" but the toxic person actually got his shit together and initiated the breakup so it doesn't completely qualify :(

Your right you aren’t someone’s therapist and nobody deserves to be treated badly or guilt tripped bc someone else had a hard life and yohan has the right to defend himself and the right to want to help the person he loves get I to a better mental state. But my interpretation of the story is that the creator is aware of the fact jihyun has this is a toxic trait and yohan will be aware enough , probably with the help of his brother, to confront it since I don’t seen Jihyun has the intention to manipulate yohan for him own reasons. I really do what your saying and that your experience come in to play but I want to trust this story isnt gonna work that general way. If it does that trust me my whole ass opinion will change in an instance.

So, taking into consideration what you just said, that is a very valid conclusion to come to. It's a pretty solid take on the story so far. I'm pretty biased on this story, though, as nostalgia forces me to identify heavily with Yohan. (At least, in the sense where my first love was... bad. And I meant well, but all that happened was trauma lmfao -not funny, but it happens.)

HOWEVEEERRRRRR, for an even longer period of my life, I was a Jihyun. And I cannot tell you the amount of resentment I felt towards myself in watching me wreck every healthy relationship I could have had due to trauma that was not my fault. A constant litany of "if they *really* cared about me, they should understand me, and empathize with *ME*." And although that's true to an extent, I wasn't being a very good person towards them. It wasn't just selfish of me, it was negligent, and my actions (however indirect) were straight up harmful. The worst part? At the end of the day, I really *was* sorry. But when I finally mustered the courage to apologize, one of my (then) best friends was like "I need you to stop being sorry and start being *better*."

Thankfully, it stuck.

So looping back to my earlier statement, I can empathize with both parties. But I must say that one side is definitely more destructive and "wrong" than the other. It's unfortunate that it happens this way. (To be honest, this probably has happened to everyone. Life is heavy like that.)

I'm pulling from anecdotes, however, and so most of the things I say are a direct reflection of my experiences and what I've gleaned from them. Anecdotes are notorious for being limited in scope, so I'm looking forward for the chance to be proven incorrect.

You're statements are very valid, and your take is true, and this story is definitely good enough that I'm going to stay to watch it play out. Thanks for taking the time to reply :)

Honestly we have rlly similar thoughts characters and story its just we initially had very different take how it played in. This story can 100% end up going in many different directions but I’m excited to seen how it turns out and feel like I personally gained a bit from hearing your take and experiences. You probably don’t want all that "I’m sorry you went through that" bc it’s a part of your history now but Ik progressing from that had to have taken some gut and thinking and I heavily respect you for making those choices for yourself and the ppl around you as much as some stranger can.
