i think he just admires asumi bc asumi takes care of ichika and he enjoys taking care of him; while daiki sees taking care of yuki as a little burdensome/tiresome. prob also has to do with the fact that his own parents don’t really take care of him so he can’t understand why asumi would take care of a kid that isn’t his. i think daiki just wants to be taken care of ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
