i love this so much!!! first off, that the couple is already established at the start, and second that they're a stable, "aging" (hate to say that as they're still so young, but you know what i mean) couple. there is a maturity and quiet intimacy to their story that is missing from others that are more centered around high school/college-aged characters. it makes for a very realistic and tender story.

the art style is gorgeous! also, i, like the rest of you in the comments, really don't think seunghyun did that much to ask forgiveness for. yes he lied, but aside from that initial lie he was very sincere about teaching hojun and treating him with kindness and generosity. imo hojun doesn't seem like the type that would bear a grudge either, rather wouldn't this make him happier to know that he's the only 'student'? well who knows how it'll go down though haha. i can sense that ponytail guy is going to home wreck... ://

everything is finally coming together.. just wow, it really has been such a journey. i started reading this series something like 11 years ago if you can believe it. they've come so far, all of them--but especially misaki. i'm so proud. ;-;
thinking back, when i first started reading this, i was a high school student, like misaki. and back then, between this and sekaiichi hatsukoi i wondered what it would be like to work in publishing. since then i graduated college and actually got a job in publishing. i've been wondering where i should go from here, so hearing usagi's father tell misaki "oh so, nothing will change except you swap the office for school? what happened to your determination?" felt like a direct attack LOL.
loved this so much! there's a maturity to their love story that's so refreshing. the age gap was deftly handled and realistic. the characters are so open-minded as well, which is hard to find in BL: there's bisexuality!! uematsu doesn't continue insisting that he's straight, only that a same-sex relationship is new to him! his daughter's knee jerk reaction is disgust, but very quickly does a 180! i love it all.
