In otome games like this one, there's hardly a main male lead. There might be a route that unfolds the story better (which is the case for Seven) and thus, some people consider it the "true route", but the general idea is that you, the player, chooses who's the male lead. Of course, that doesn't apply to all otoges tho.

Unlikely, cuz one there wasn't any trust between them. Especially since the rabbit magician was the one who put the wall in the first place(he has trust issues, which is understandable).
The crown prince actually treated her well enough. No mind games or anything between them, even though Penny's reaction towards him in the beginning was hilarious-- up until he promised not to kill her lol(he had no intention to kill her after the first encounter).
You could see the difference between these two that treated Penny during the arc when Penny was on an island of Leilas(forgot the name).
