I’m not surprised that the teacher ended up like that... but on another note I’m confused about kirinos ending. I thought his mother started accept him so did he feel like she didn’t actually accept him and it was only out of pity and decided to live up to his mother expectations of “normal” or some shit.

I think in her case, Kirino wanted her mother's happiness over hers, so she decided to tuck everything in and live life for her mother. While I believe Kirino's mother accepted her, I also think deep inside she still wanted Kirino to be "normal", so she just went on with her wishes of getting married and having kids without saying anything/complaining. This is something really common; my parents accept me being trans and have helped me a bit with my transition, but they still refuse to use my pronouns and name, so I, at times, get the feeling that they don't actually accept me or even love me. I think sometimes is really hard for parents to fully accept and support their children in this matters, they probably have a set idea of what their children "have" to be/become that when we shatter it it gets hard for them to support us and then they might take any chance to get us back on "the right track".
Fuck no
