coming from the same mangaka that made the dumpster fire that is “Rent-A-Girlfriend”, the male protagonist is actually… an amazing guy. Ararat isn’t anything like the shitstain Kazuya and each of the girls have a legitimate reason to like him.
also, the conflict of them being siblings-but-not-actually-siblings is real and causes a rift in Arara actually pursuing anything with each of the girls because he constantly thinks about how they all grew up together and that makes somewhat annoying fanservice scenes more bearable in this manga. as well as the conflict of each of the girls realizing their feelings and then realizing the other girls have the same feelings for Arata.
i mean, what i feel about this manga is good, don’t get me wrong. there’s nothing but amazing praise i can give it. but after finishing it, i am quite literally speechless. this manga made me feel so many emotions and confusion and awe. if you want something to change the trajectory of your life, read this. if you’re icky with the gore and body horror, don’t, obviously; but if you can get past that, it’s a life-altering story about love and how far someone is willing to go. :)
