-Raul probably goes into the jewelry store to inquire about the pendant
-Ines receives a horrible yet entertaining letter from her mother. The butler, who is Ines’s close servant now, was ordered by her to throw it in the fire but he couldn’t do it. Inés had him read the letter out loud to her and poor Butler was so uncomfortable by the crazy things Inés’s mother wrote to her in the letter. lol
-At least from reading the letter, the manhwa might finally introduce the crown prince and future crown princess since their upcoming wedding is mentioned in the letter.
-Letter leads Ines to remember things about the crown prince and especially the soon-to-be crown princess. Ines doesn’t think we’ll of either the crown prince and his soon-to-be wife.
-Ines and Carcel leaves on horseback for his grandfather’s hunting lodge. Some emotional revelation occurs there. A surprising incident also occurs there. We also get to see Carcel for the first time as an heir to a dukedom. Most times we forget he is an heir but in this part, his private knights/soldiers will make an appearance. They report to him like a lord. He only called them up to guard the hunting ground because he brought his wife with him. Otherwise, he wouldn’t call up his private soldiers.

Spoilers:
Of course. It leads to her physically beating him up. lol I laugh but it was a truly interesting scene for many reasons. She associates that particular drug with cheating husbands. The way Carcel handles it shows exactly why they work seamlessly as a couple. He was sound asleep because he was sick and Ines wakes him up by throwing stuff at him. Poor guy was confused but his first priority was calming down Ines because she began to hyperventilate. Ines is very hot tempered so this is her true self too. This entire scene leads to them growing closer as a couple because the way Carcel handled the scene led to Ines wanting to reveal her big secret. The way the author writes them is truly amazing.

Life. There are parents who dump their kids to the grand parents for them to raise. Then suddenly waltzing back to their children’s life like they didn’t semi abandoned them all through out their childhood. Trying to get them back after the grandparents raise them as their own. The audacity of these kind of parents.
We love when the parents get the courts involved to get the child back just for the judges to say “well, no I won’t give you the child back but you can pay back taxes and the child support you now owe your parents” Love that for them.
