I know some of y’all are confused with the story. Most of it is because of the translations. This story has two translations and both of them are confusing. I noticed some mistranslations and contradicting dialogues that don’t match.
I DID NOT DO THIS TO HATE ON THE TRANSLATORS. THIS IS JUST FOR THE PEOPLE WHO GOT CONFUSED WITH THE PLOT.
I AM GRATEFUL FOR THE TRANSLATORS WHO TRANSLATES THIS AMAZING STORIES. I LOVE Y’ALL.
Imma explain y’all the summary of the previous chapters. (P.s. this is what I understand)
Uke is in love with seme since high school and they had mutual feelings. Uke was a candidate for recommendation for a college scholarship on the school of his choice. Seme also wanted to go to the same college. The college only accepts students if they have the principal’s recommendation or if the student topped the SAT. The principal only makes recommendation letters for the top 3 students of the school. Uke wanted seme to get the recommendation too so he had to give up his spot for seme. But the teachers and his uncle thought that he was being bribed or bullied to give up his position. This would make seme a prime suspect. So uke made 3 mistakes on his finals to prove that he is not smart enough to get the principal’s recommendation. Also, to make his uncle stop suspecting him. Uke still made sure to Top the SAT and pass his target college along side a scholarship. Uke thought that seme might hate him for what he did (idk why lol) or people might suspect (idk why). He felt that he doesn’t deserve to be liked by seme so he broke up with him.
Uke’s family background:
Uke has an older brother and big bro was the only one that his grand father took custody. Uke was constantly being passed around by his relatives until he was left in the care of his aunt and uncle (evil family smh)
FAST FORWARD, seme did not give up, he is still madly in love with him so he is trying to find out everything about uke, why he broke up with him and what’s stopping uke from confessing (bec seme knows that uke likes him). He also investigated why uke’s uncle abandoned him. Uke’s uncle moved out their previous apartment without telling uke. Upon investigating, (uke doesn’t know that he is being nosy lol) he found out that the uncle stole the inheritance money solely for uke. Uke’s cousin also has uke’s stuff including seme’s slippers and tie that uke treasures so much.
NOW, uke has been wondering why his brother never looked for him throughout the years. (Im angry bec uke has been suffering so much and stressing for scholarships yet his brother is rich, wtf right?!)
(There’s contradicting dialogues in the current chapter which i think is mistranslation) but thank you for the translations still (▰˘◡˘▰)

she may look unpredictable according to the story's male characters' logic. they just keep on saying bs like 'wow I didn't expect that' and act surprised that the world doesn't revolve around them (blondie) or that sb would take up a fair offer (doya) but imo everything's pretty standard so far.
