To be honest, I’ve read Bara, BL, GL, Shounen-ai, and Shoujo-ai and never saw it as a good representation of the LGBTQ+ community (depending on the manhua, manga, and manhwa I’m reading, there’s a whole lot of stories that are worth reading and are actually a great representation but, I can’t say for sure).
