My thoughts are the soul of the brother is the elf who stole R/Lari’s soul, but somehow he lost the soul and so transferred “his” soul into the brother (so technically they are related). Not sure why the elf would want the OgFl to be interested in him, other than because he thinks she will be useful in the future.
Now as to why the elf wants R/Lari’s soul… I got no idea… maybe she was a past love who’s soul traveled outside of the novel and then came back, and now he’s trying to R/Lari’s soul back to restore his lost love.

i kinda believe platinum will also have a happy ending as he isn't the villain of the series but my wild guess would be that obsidian just gets awkward around him bcs she doesn't have any feelings for him and possibly maybe moon owl will enter the game himself since it's 4 girls and 3 boys rn, platinum gets heartbroken by someone he thinks is marianne (cause literally no other options right) and accepts the fact that maybe she just isn't for him, starts spending time with other girls and starts to look at them as individuals not marianne wannabes and gets to know amber well enough to end with her and them boom big reveal that she is the one he's been looking for. like i really hope he gets "redemption arc" bcs i find his character really intriguing and i genuinely like him even though he now has many flaws. but again i kinda feel he can be justified (not really but i get him a little) like he was basically locked up bcs of his incurable disease with no future plans, with no hope, with no love i guess since no one in his family cared about what he was doing (and now his dad is even plotting something??), so him getting this obsession as a way to cope with situation is not that weird. i want him to explore his own feelings towards a real human being in comparison to what he is doing now- exploring the marianne concept
