he is prolly gonna have a trauma because of his parents and thats why he turned into an asshole when in reality there is nothing more harder than experiencing poverty and doing things just to fcking survive and the fact that Dan stayed kind all that is fcking amazing. (Although I do not invalidate any traumas is just that its so overused and authors always use this type of trauma to justifiy all the pain they caused to others when in reality they can use a much better prompt) But anyways I'm still reading this sht cause the author actually did great on designing Jaekyung's face & body so I'm so sorry if pretty privelege works on me T~T never seen a man that looks this good fr.
No personal attack here ! I am just curious about your opinion as what can be done better for the redemption arc and why using the "parent trauma" is too stereotypical for you when, I believe, parent trauma can easily be a source of trauma for anyone so in a sense relatable for everyone ?

No, its because they just use this type of trauma so easily without actually buidling a better phasing and better prompt on how jaekyung's trauma progress, as someone who experienced the same trauma you can't just use this as an excuse to all the sht you did to another person, to make my point shorter, they should have made it into better prompt cause clearly they did not so it made his back story so shallow, it would have been better if they actually shows some signs of Jaekyung experiencing this trauma prior cause now everything just looks like an excuse to justify what he did and its dumb as fck to see especially not when Jaekyung saw how Dan also suffered prior too which makes him a total douchebag. But sorry if you were offended don't worry I will never make an opinion on something I did not experience so don't take this so hard its just on a reader's stand point. ^^
The should have done it the same way they did in BJ alex where they conveyed how trauma really affects a person on the long run.
