Yeah some parts might’ve been a bit confusing but it was so /artsy/ it was so cute to read and it felt like a dream tbh. I love the Childhood Lovers trope and the way the author made it into a slow burn with no segsy scenes just made me really happy. They genuinely look happy together n that’s all i need :D. Amazingly wholesome n would totally read again hehe. Also thank you Asahi for making this whole thing possible lmfao. the art is amazing too!

This was very very cute, very adorable. This is one of my favourite concepts n i love the idol sorta trope hOwever- these two- never really seem to resolve their issues by talking it out- Like at the most critical part of the story where they were together on the roof, instead of talking it out and instead of reminiscing together, which i personally believe would provide the plot with more depth, they decided to have segs. Now ion mind segs. I would’ve been interested in that slave play thing but like. Read the room? How did they just forgive each other like nothing ever happened n how did Hangyum get away with not apologizing?? Again- dis was cute, it really was and the way the author draws their faces conveys loves so beautifully. Plus the concept and the ups n downs were fun to read. Just the ending kinda urked me cause none of the problems seemed to be properly resolved. Glad they’re happy but i wanted more depth. Still a great read tho!!

They did talk about it most of it we did not see. For chapter 50, Tapas has a few lines mistranslated and since Korean is a high context language some of the meaning does not translate over. English is a low-context and meaning more direct communication and high-content is more indirect communication. Like saying it is cold isn’t meaning to turn on a heater. So if readers are not aware of this, they miss what happens in chapter 50.
We don’t know if they apologized to each other but why does Hangyum have to apologize? I am meaning why only him, if anyone has to apologize.
Hajin understand what happened and rushed to fix it but Hangyum was wasted and never seen the note and only is upset/mad that Hangyum did not call him. At the beginning of chapter 50, when he learns Hangyum did not follow him (not stalk) and has been there. Hajin is disappointed because he thinks Hangyum is not there to rekindle their relationship. Hajin probably thought since it has been a week (not in Tapas) Hangyum rejected him. I think I am going to get that topic up to understand chapter 50 better. In chapter 51, we only see the end of the conversation, it jumped over most of that conversation. I say with how easy it was to talk to each other, shows how easy they match and understand each other. Some times are understand with out words. Plus, taking from what was said in chapter 40 and them learning things after, there were things they learned by themselves.
I will say if you like this. Which is good but fails in comparison to the Korean story. Please Read the the fan translations when they are done. They are sticking to the true story. They are in the raws section. For more information red chapter 41 page 1. If you want to see the difference in between the Tapas and Korean version, the fan translation of chapter 38-41 would be good examples. I can gave you examples for each chapter. Every chapter Tapas Reimagined something and changed the story. One of the biggest mistakes is the idol is supposed to be going by Han and not Hangyum in present day. So in Korean and French they have it Lee Han. Lee is his last name. The Japanese changed his name but still shortened his name like the Korean and French did. I don’t know why Tapas used Hangyum.
If you read the description, Tapas lied about Woojae and even their chapter 1 and few other chapters disputes their own description.

Oml that would make so much more sense haha. I’ll be sure to check it out! Thanks! What I was mostly iffy about was the fact that they had segs FIRST tho. I know everything is talked over in the end but couples who use segs to say sorry kind of make me sad sometimes cause they don’t bother with the talk first. I’ll definitely check out the raws tho! It’s not the first time the English translation was wrong!

Honestly it lowkey made me uncomfortable. The seme wasn’t just “possessive” he was also hella manipulative. Saying something like “ i won’t touch you n I’ll ignore you until you admit that you have feelings for me n will say it to my face” I mean like fine ya know. It could be interpreted to “I know you love me now say it already” but honestly. Plus he said maybe he was overly giving his love to the uke? Making himself the victim? Uh sir- HE should’ve been the one to apologize but he made it seem like the uke’s fault. Anyways, its an older yaoi story so i can kinda understand n it was cute in some places but overall just not my kinda story.

I did NOT think that this would make me cry- but it did- Istg this is one of the most genuine love stories I've read in a while. The way they portray it and the way they mostly focused on the two characters?? I'm in love- I want more T^T

HoneyBear September 10, 2020 7:14 pm

Lmfao tf was this. I’m glad they end up happy together but the alpha n the omega are both asses. How tf was the alpha jus forgiven like that?? Like c’mon? He sucks so badly n should definitely be thrown in jail- whata creep. They acted like everything he did was good for the main couple like- wah- n the omega??? After everything he’s done to the beta??? there wasn’t even an apology?? He acted like a brat and STILL got his happily ever after? Like mans what. Fine yay they’re happy n shit but holy mother of fucks this annoyed me so much

    surferguy83 October 18, 2020 1:50 pm

same bruh i hate how he was just forgiven like what-

HoneyBear September 10, 2020 6:29 pm

One of the ONLY yaois i will keep coming back to and KEEP reading it and rereading it because it is SO GOOD. The way they both try to understand each other and the way they both realize how much the other is hurting is so beautiful. The way they love each other is so adorable and it just feels so... i guess real? Like its genuine love radiating from my screen. It isn’t toxic, its just wholesome, healthy love. The character developement? Amazing. The heartbreak scenes? made me cry. I love this one so much jeez.

HoneyBear September 9, 2020 11:10 pm

I really hate those BLs where the "antagonist" character doesn't get punished properly for his bad deeds. I really wanna know if the ending is worth it or not? Is the mans at least humiliated or does he get off scot-free cause of god who knows what.

    haley September 10, 2020 2:33 am

yes the ending is totally worth it! that fucker got punished
