is anyone else icked out by the professor? idc if he's a health professor and was just doing checkups on the student...but like isshiki already had a partner while still doing the plays so it's not like he had a deficiency or something... it's a little disturbing we weren't shown what type of "light play" they did because if it went to the point where he unbuttoned his collar then it probably wasn't as light as he made it out to be...i rlly enjoyed the story but i absolutely hate these types of dynamics and i can't just ignore it especially when the professor is so prominent...what a disappointment :(

OMG SAME!!!!
I imagine their plays would be like what it is in Oresama Dom Wa Naderaretai. Like they show what light play is between the school sub/dom nurse whatever tf they are called and students. And it's like safe, consentual and what is should be for this verse and it doesn't come off as weird.
But omg he gives me such an ICk I legit just skip over his dialog cause it's unbearable. He's so weird.
I get it if it's a way to make some conflict in the story but it just makes the teacher so creepy I hate it.

yes, but then he met the dom and he already had the alternative. but he only stopped the play with prof after they became lovers, while they were playing as just partners he still went to the prof, why? and it was never mentioned how the play looked like so if being lovers was the reason they stopped i guess it was actually sexual and that’s what’s bothering me. and the prof is actually kind and i liked him but their relationship was uncomfy in the story

hmm, the way I see it is there's not supposed to be anything wrong with the checkups and the light play they do. I also imagine it is quite light and infrequent, otherwise Isshiki would not be suffering so when the story began. That's why Isshiki kept going to the checkups even when he had Kurashina. But I think the more they did the "play" the more unnecessary the checkups became. Realizing that Kurashina is with Isshiki, and he is bothered by the play they do, I think it's the docs way of saying that he is leaving it to Kurashina to take care of him etc.
I like the professor, so that's how I prefer to see it. He may be teasing but I don't think the intention was anything sexual or inappropriate.

is this a worth read?? seeing the comments, i don't think it is, but they're mainly about the second couple...should i read only the story focusing on the first couple? if so, what chapter do i end at? like at the end of season 1?? also i didn't really understand the description, are both uke & seme virgins or what???

first couple is sweet but kinda cliche storyline (also yes uke and seme are both virgins) i personally liked it but it was just okay imo
second couple had potential at first but there’s many instances of non-con that have given me the major ick tbh i’m only still reading cause im curious what direction the author is even trying to go with them lol

ash has been giving me the ick recently with his attitude/personality in the side stories...if someone is crying & actively telling you to stop, then you stop. not continue to get what you want out of them. that's a way of manipulating someone into your control so they tell you everything. so yes, ash DID ruin it. if none of this would've happened, then lyle wouldve been able to successfully propose to ash (because we already know ash was thinking about it but didn't know how lyle felt). i miss the old ash, straight from the go ash
when i first read this, i kinda felt like yoohan was forced into the relationship, had no feelings for jay and anything he did feel for jay was circumstantial. BUT after reading this again, it's pretty clear that they do have feelings for eachother and they show affection in their own way. i think the repetitive nature of bls showing love in the same way kinda messed up the way i interpreted this story the first time because if they weren't showing affection like i was used to then it wasn't really love yk? yoohans and jays affections weren't outright..it was more subtle and unique but it goes to the point that you can't mistake it as something else besides the attraction between them. which is why this story is SUCH a refreshing read. it's very unique and it's sort of realistic in the way that not everyone is dramatic and obvious with their emotions/affections. i'm really glad i read this again and appreciate it the way it was supposed to because it has definitely become one of the top reads for me <3
exactly! this is def why payback is a favorite of mine, when u see the way both treat literally anyone they consider close you see that neither are the outwardly sappy and affectionate type (for understandable reasons). they simply have very rough ways of loving and I think I appreciate them so much, especially yoohan, bc i see myself in them lmao
