Definitely worth a read if you ask me. Still living in my head rent free after all this time. Pretty angsty ride but it's a happy ending and they stay together. It's dark but I don't recall any particular trigger warnings, just general dark topics like murder, violence, physical/emotional abuse, etc (not between the main couple).
