i feel so bad for him!!! i think in asian culture it’s a big worry and burden to continue to carry on the family name. so a lot of gay people aren’t accepted or feel guilty bc they can’t uphold their responsibility. i never thought of this aspect as a girl but it’s deeply rooted in chinese society and i’m glad the author wrote about it.
