i agree with you and disagree! i think jennette did have some growth, she grew up with a manipulative man that had her think she’ll eventually get everything she wished for without having to really work for it. and ever since i think after a while athanasia stayed with jennette every now and then is a when she actually started to kind of think about what’s going on around her. she’s just very slow so i think her development will quicken on sometime like the climax of the story, but that’s just my guess based on the events surrounding jennette. her oblivious was annoying but i find it better cause i see her learning bit by bit╮(￣▽￣)╭

It just feels like she doesnt have sum sorta change. shes literally the same girl the original book/novel described her. shes sweet, nice, innocent and kind of a cute airhead just like how the author of the original book wrote her to be. nothing more, nothing less. I dont hate jennette, but I think among all she is the most uninteresting character ive ever encountered in a manhwa. But ig the purpose of characters in books is to make us feel sumthing and if so, she has fullfilled her role as a character.
