i love how this manga shows the characters' actions and thought process without ever excusing their shitty actions. the mangaka writes them "yes their actions are wrong, but also here is the past they grew up in. i'm not justifying their actions, i'm showing how they can become the way they are because of their past" and i love that. i love that so so much. takamatsu sensei is an amazing writer wow. the intricacies and details of the characters' conversations and interactions just felt so real to me, as if they're all real people going through real life. and i know there is a lot of psychological mangas that deal with this type of writing, but they're often too depressing/negative....on the other hand, skip & loafer is just so positive and realistic and it always inspires me to become a better person
jiho didn't push all the blame to chungi, he was just mad at chungi because why would he say that to inwoo??? if yall have a friend who you trust with your whole lives to keep what you said a secret from others, and then that same friend went ahead and blabbed about it, won't you be mad at them too??? What he said to chungi might be not the best thing to say, but he said that in confidence and chungi should not have told it to inwoo no matter what tbh i see jiho and inwoo in a mess of a relationship rn, what they both need to do is to communicate properly instead of keeping everything they feel to themselves!!! sick of people saying "jiho is blaming everyone but himself!!" when clearly he regretted what he did, he was just mad that chungi betrayed him by revealing what he said to him, knowing that it would hurt inwoo. yes his actions are wrong, but yall act as if jiho's the villain when inwoo also kept A LOT of things to himself

how can someone who goes through so much hatred be so open to empathy and understanding? i understand that she is part of the monarchy (basically part of the "problem"), but realistically as a woman she can't even change anything much (cuz misogyny duh). it's like marie antoinette all over again :( people really do hate women
