honestly in both the webtoon & webnovel i really wanted heiner to not end up together with annette......cuz this story is so well-written and them not getting back together would've made me love this story even more. i LOVE annette, both the novel and webtoon version of her helped me go through some irl shit, so i feel really sad that she's going to get back to him even if it's fictional lol. i think i just wanted heiner to really sacrifice himself for annette yk? like really really grovel. i think the webnovel was more satisfying because the writing is chefs kisses so i would recommend reading the webnovel like it's def where it's attrt
like i love that sejin stands up for himself, but tbh ido can't just get rid of knowing that he basically made sejin kill himself in the previous timeline. like i cant imagine wanting to be happy with him if i've done that much damage towards him
i feel like ido breaking off the engagement is cruel, but tbf he did rape sejin in his past life and he knew he pushed sejin to death before......like how do one admit they did such a terrible thing + not feel guilty at all? it makes sense for ido to not feel like he deserves to be with sejin, especially with the realization that his past actions are still affecting sejin in this life (through the nightmares). like i can't imagine admitting to doing that terrible of a thing to someone you love and coming clean with it to that person, i guess that's the consequences of ido's actions lol
At first, I was angry that it was Ido (the face was unclear) who assaulted Sejin in the past life .. but when I saw Ido's brother, i thought it was him who assaulted Sejin and Ido watched Sejin suffer at his brother's hands and Ido wanted to save Sejin in this life but the first one looks to be true now
this was such a good manga. as a job seeker and an adult mostly lost and confused, their struggles really speak to me. i sometimes wonder if it's better for me to chase my old dreams instead of doing whatever i'm doing now...
