It's really no surprise that lan must've been a lot more introverted, maybe even shy, before it happened, and he def still is, you can see how his social battery is always down after having all these interactions with people that know him. As kind and polite as he is and probably was during childhood as well, his mom pushing on him the whole "angel" persona and having to get along with everyone had to be exhausting. // If there's any Genshin players here it might be a 4.1 archon quest spoiler or something but in a way it kinda reminds me of how Furina had to play the role of the hydro archon and become someone she wasn't for decades until it in a way became her personality, when at first she seemed to much more introverted and shy. // lan, even if he did enjoy this, had to be tired at some point but his mom still wouldn't stop being stuck in that era, literally "trapping lan in it as well" and because he doesn't want to hurt her he just goes along with it. I hope yugun will realize that and help him by encouraging him to stand up to his mom. He deserves that.

I really love them so much. From the character’s chemistry, how healthy it is, to like the matter about them being 2 dads raising a kid in korea that could prove itself hard, the whole thing is just so real to me. Like- that’s the healthiest and most realistic relationship i’ve seen in manhwa in so long. It’s hard for me these days to find manhwas i’m excited to see update, but this is definitely one of them. I just like it so much
