Lmfao I'm replying super late but wtv. my problem isn't that he fell in love, my problem is that he started the entire "relationship" based on a lie. yes I hope they'll be happy, but lying to someone is in no way love. it's not like it was a white lie, it was a selfish lie. he manipulated him and lied to him the entire time before meeting him. like yea no shit the other guy's gonna be pissed, feel betrayed and dislike you. his friend is a problem too, cause how are you gonna give your friend's number to a guy who's genuinely interested in you and actually have common interests? not just that but if I remember correctly, I'm pretty sure it wasn't the first time that had happened. it's a major disrespect towards both the individual he lied to and to his friend.
Now I agree you don't choose who you fall for. I'm obviously not mad at him falling in love, but you can 100% choose how you deal with it, and HIS way of dealing with it, especially for someone his age was wrong. he's old enough to know that. not liking a character isn't being a hater. it's having critical thinking, and it's knowing when something IS wrong and shouldn't be excused just because he's in love.
As I said before, I AM curious at how this story ends and it's probably the only reason I'm still planning on finishing it. I do like the male lead tho, or at least I did the last time I read it. But I'll say it again, disliking a character like neon doesn't make me a "hater" as I do not actively hate the story, or the character. I simply cannot bring myself to actually like him.

At first i was worried about how far his character development would go, and like more than just impressed i’m glad they didn’t just slap on a nice jaehyuk and made garam fall for him just like that and call it a day. Like YES, i am DYING for them to start dating, but i’m glad garam knew better than to just accept all the disrespect he received before and instead, rejected him the first time.
