Not defending hazuki but I think what really set him off was hearing that the other guy is good with kids, like he wants to do so much for his family especially naoto but he can barely have to little ones stay with him
yes! he's incredibly insecure with himself and it's been building up for a while. Hazuki hearing Naoto say that (especially after last chapter where they joke about hazuki's parenting skills) definitely was the final straw for Hazuki.

When you make a character so despicable, you gotta make sure that the character development is on point and actually worth it because a simple I’m sorry for the horrible things I’ve done and I realized I like you won’t be enough, like he doesn’t even have a redeeming quality #－.－)

Right, reading the latest chapter always make me want to reread from first chap again. But I'm a bit sad though, because this type of story usually end when the goal is achieved. Like, winning the national, chika reconciliation. I hope I'm wrong though. I would love to see grown up chika become a pro koto player hahahaha
