Since Jay already questioned the girl about being a different person I feel like it would’ve been interesting if the authors had Jay threaten the girl throughout the story into doing stuff for him (money, etc). That way when Jay fell for her it would’ve seemed more natural and it would’ve been funnier to watch that happen. The fiancé bit I like how he didn’t break off the engagement but it should’ve been because he thought she was tricking him not because he was interested in her. Like just because the girl said some kind words to him, because of there previous interactions, he should’ve still seen the girl as similar to his stepmother.
