acting like nothing ever happened is weird. I get that dohyun has Stockholm syndrome, but it doesn't make sense. I like most of it, I didn't like the ending. I expected angst, and that makes sense.
True . But from the complex characteristics they have , from Doyun's POV , he never had an anchor in his life , doesn't have a caring family , his friendships aren't deep. Seungho is the only person who made him feel grounded , and he ran away too. So he lived his life without any connections. Forgot relationships and embraced his shelfishness . He got what he wanted or even just a fragment or illusion(at first when they were happy) of what he wanted from Seungho , as twisted as it is . It wasn't elaborated but I think that's what it was . Humans are really complex and morality is subjective . I once watched a show about a girl who falls for an accomplice of her rapists(he didn't rape her himself). He repented and helped convict them , but can you move on ?

I understand ppl with syndrome, but thats not how they act.

No that's why I'm saying. It wasn't just the syndrome i think . Even the show i told you about , there was no syndrome . Okay another example , in the show hannibal , basically Will is a criminal analyst but with an empathy for the killer , who was hannibal , even after knowing it's him(Hannibal not just killed but manipulated Will a lot , tryning to make him see his beauty of art or whatever) , Will was still drawn to him . Some relationships are toxic and people accept it if it's the only way , the pain of the past is the price to pay.
Yes yes that's true . I'm saying is what he did and what they decided to do in the end was not just dictated by Stockholm syndrome. Doyun's thought process isn't very simple either. He manipulated Seugho in highschool too. In a way , he didn't fall for Seungho just cuz of the syndrome , he wanted to relive his only good memory of his life which was with Seungho even tho he manipulated him into a relationship and when he couldn't get that , he saw him only as his captor and rapist and wanted him to die . What I'm saying is the story isn't just one dimensional.
but dude, the plot was mildly interesting but was terribly drawn out. It ended so abruptly and for a god drawing style I hated this. I've never disliked a yaoi, this is a first.

I'm not glorifying their relationship or Stockholm syndrome, just tryna understand and dissect why they did what they did.
That’s the things it is Stockholm syndrome, he got kidnapped and he likes his kidnapper. It literally is Stockholm syndrome
