I think reading this manga really makes us yellow and brown kids realise how different we actually are from the white readers. Like how familiar everything is and how you can really see yourself and your own family here. I'v seen so many people drop this comic or say how terrible everyone except the two gays are in this comic. Well as a gay person my self I can honestly say the charecters I dislike are the two gay kids. Cz they both don't realise how good they have it. Sure society won't easily expect them but they never had to suffer the way Hanna did. That boy is going to grow up and be the same as his dad as he too is favoured as a dick bairer . And the girl, i get she's being rebellious but how are you so blind to how good you have it? Sleeping over at a boys house, being able to work even as a minor, staying out late etc are stuff I would kill for. Anyway this manga somehow brings out these stupid feelings in me. Ugh
That is so unfair to the gay kids because guess what? They dont have it good, we have to pretend day and night to be something we aren't because we could be killed or something worse.
