She isn’t his son’s wife or wasn’t officially yet. The son was going to rape her and then probably make her his concubine before they got attacked and the son ended up dying. Since she was one of the survivors including one other men it would have looked suspicious and she would have been accused and killed by the family house of plotting against Baekwoon so, her grandfather told her to act as if she was Baekwoon’s new concubine right before he died.
She’s never been claimed by the son or any other and now this old geezer and his 6-8pack is gonna have her for himself.
The "son" was never his son. When he was 18 he found a pregnant courtesan who was carrying someone else's child and claimed the child as his. She pulled up herself and is fighting but the family is just disgusting. What so they fired the maid. It will never change the fact that you wanted a fu*king good girl when you yourself never gave enough love. Just seeing her situation always makes me cry as well feel proud that she never considered suicide instead moved forward. ╥﹏╥

As I've read the novel they will discuss about the hunting competition and penelope will try not to go because of crown prince. Then the head kitchen maid will mock her in the dining quietly so she turns the table and gets the head maid fired (it will be a good scene~). After that she will get permission to rooftop room where she will confront that blonde haired bastard. After that she will take her slave/knight to buy some swords and spend a good time. Then she makes something for that bitch father to show and he gives her a bow and arrow. I'm still confused about the scenes but Ive read it so here some for you(▰˘◡˘▰)
