Tbf Hoyeol is still under the impression that Grandfel & everything about him was born out of his "middle schooler syndrome". We know that's not the truth, that Grandfel is a real person from Arcana and he and Hoyeol somehow share a special connection (ie. linked souls or something) that the other players lack (I personally like to think that every player's character did actually exist in Arcana as a person, but they lacked that something special Grandfel has and lost their self/were absorbed by the players when the worlds merged.) - but yeah, Hoyeol doesn't yet realise that. I'll be real with you, if I suddenly woke up as a character I created when I was 12 and acted how I wrote her at the time, I'd be cringing too.
I get your frustration though, we've seen Hoyeol have glimpses of thought that could help him realise the truth so we know he is capable of that, so it can be annoying to still see him with that shtick 70 chapters later ╮(￣∇￣")╭

heh this is actually pretty good, inner Hoyeol is lowkey annoying but at the same time he has one of the REALEST reaction any person in his situation would have and it is hilarious, all in all i like this!

in terms of whether or not Rail is jealous romantically or platonically - i have a feeling that his reaction is more of a surprised by seeing Dyne show that kind of emotion and generate such a loving energy towards Kouichi OR more of a worry at the thought of Dyne falling for the prince of titan's bride since this will create a lot of problem AND a lot of pain from both parties, particularly Dyne OR he could also be shocked coz he's never seen Dyne smile THAT way before (or maybe even smile at all) - the kind of smile that generates an obvious affection whether romantically or platonically or a genuine little brother or beloved friend or important person that helped with his personal growth kind of way
definitely alot of what ifs and maybes in this chapter, im looking forward to where the plot is heading ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ
