i think anatol will be fine without riftan and maxi as they have done so before when riftan was away doing knight stuff and maxi wasn’t there
i don’t really see a problem with maxi going as they will need a mage that knows healing magic and she knows a bit of defensive magic to protect herself
however maxi can’t be going out there acting like a pussy at the sight of monsters and throwing up like in the earlier chapters
how would he now that their marriage won’t be accepted? i think satokos father would be happy that his daughter found true love when she will most likely die soon.

I mean upon first sighting in can see her being scared, those things are monsters that could easily shred her to pieces. So I expect an adjustment period as long as its not too long. Kinda like the whole blood thing, when she was helping Ruth the first time the injuries and sick ppl really rattled her, but now she's healing and takes seeing blood like a champ. So I can take her getting scared here and there, as long as she continues to grow. She is learning that defense spell so I'm hoping in a dire situation she'll focus and use what she's learned.
