He wants to be honest, but the reason he’s not is because he’s scared to scare her away.. their relationship is just starting and she just ended a 13 year long marriage. You gotta understand why he’s not communicating every single thing with her. And he usually is super honest like he’ll stay upfront that he likes her. There are literally moments where she’s yelling at him for being with her because she’s old and he’s saying like truthfully he doesn’t care that she’s old that he likes her anyways. She’s a heavy Over-thinker and that’s why he knows to take it really slow and he’s able to predict her overthinking and find ways to reassure her without even being able to use words.

She freshly left a relationship of 13 years where she was being verbally abused and she doesn’t know what’s healthy and what’s normal meaning if anyone is going to pursue her, they have to take it extremely slow because this girl literally doesn’t know better, and if something healthy comes running at her with full speed she’s gonna run away because she never seen healthy before or experienced it.. for their relationship to work it has to be extremely extremely slow at the beginning, and genuinely considering how annoyingly she overthink every single thing without communicating either because she’s a horrible communicator, like genuinely every problem they had in their relationship is because of her overthinking and her lack of communication, I think that Tae-ha is doing really really well, considering the fact that she just exited that relationship, he’s not only doing so much for her, but he’s sacrificing so much for her..

sorry if im misunderstanding but taehas love for her is not healthy at all. i do agree that hes doing well in taking it slow, but i also do think that its not the healthiest thing to manipulate so much behind the scenes. but alas if their rlship works out like that then i guess it works. just that idk how itll be when the fl finds out (if ever)

I’m confused, what’s unhealthy about it? He’s literally a jealous lover trying to protect who he loves from more heartbreak. He’s genuinely a sweet guy but she’s only been with one man. Taeha reluctantly not telling her everything his the fear of scaring her off . She knows he’s genuine but she’s always afraid she’s being used again. Give it time , he’s such a great ml . I think some of you readers just find anything to complain about which ruins it for those who genuinely love the authors work . Just read , enjoy and be silent.

they meant that taeha is reluctant about not telling his schemes cause he has something else in mind which we don't know for sure, and his scheme can be interpreted differently from different characters, meaning it can either be bad or good for different people. Also, Hae soo might not agree to his schemes either.

im not complaining i literally like him too, im just replying to ur comment and also commenting abt him as a character. just because his love isnt healthy doesnt mean im hating on it. its a fictional piece of work that people can analyse and people do have thoughts/opinions about the characterisation and such. anyway, you dont think that its unhealthy to be hiding so much stuff behind ur partners back? what wld u feel if ur partner was manipulating stuff behind the scenes to make stuff look like coincidences when they actually arent, or what if theyre tricking u about lots of stuff? when u wholeheartedly believe him all the time? how stable is the relationship when its built on lies? wouldnt it be quite fragile? plus to love someone to the extent of needing to control elements of their life just so that u can be their partner isnt really healthy either. all in all its still unhealthy, but im not saying its a thing i hate or that its a totally bad thing. i do not hate the ml i think hes great and sincere towards the fl like u said.
