They didn’t treat her badly they just wasn’t close with her. They didn’t do anything to harm her or bully her.....
she was given the same opportunity and raised the same as them but she began being gloomy and violent to other and that’s because she was abused by the stepmom but the grandfather and brothers had no idea. She doesn’t live in the main house so it was harder for them to tell..
she was given power in the household but because she kept making mistakes they took the responsibility away (which was being a chef) I think it was also managing the household

girl tried to attempt suicide many times , they should’ve known something was wrong ... but instead they just let her like this ,i think it’s pretty normal for her to become violent . i’m pretty sure it was a coping and a defence mechanism . but of course she was the problem and the best thing they did is ignore her and trash talk her and abuse her more <3 the victim blaming in this story is immense . either way i really like this story tho

They didn’t trash talk or abuse her they just ignored her and yeah the multiple suicidal attempts could be an eye opener or they could have seen it as her seeking attention because she would throw tantrums, be violent to others ..... th wines who bullied and trashed talked her was the maids and stepmom.....

The only thing they said was she was gloomy and she was and they didn’t trust her which was due to the fact she made mistakes in her responsibility
The brothers and grand father did nothing that hurt her but she did do something that hurt them or at least one of the brothers....

they could’ve at least tried ...ignoring her isn’t any better tbh . but ig it’s because mental health in korea isn’t taken as seriously in europe and america ?

Yeah agreed especially in that period was mental health even a thing I thought they blamed it on hysteria or witchery..... even now mental health is often overlook Korea and Japan mostly

They still look down on her even after knowing the abuses and suicide attempts of the OGHost. That opportunity was rather forced upon her.

They didn’t look down on her after they found out about the abuse they find out about it in a couple of chapters and they are angry at the people who abused her and punished all of them especially the Nicole maid got the worse punishment. And continued to protect even more

Well all of them had the opportunity forced onto them I’m sure the brothers didn’t choose to be the eldest son and take over the family or the second brother was forced to be in the military but they each have a role to play and their opportunity could given them power to protect themselves. She had to be a chef... which will give her a chance to manage the household. I’m guessing that money and everything

Now that you mentioned it, it did happen after chapter 12 the following raw chapters.

But she could only reveal the truth after she won over the Grandfather/Head of the family with a very delicious dish at his birthday dinner and he then granted her a wish.
First gaining favor, then self-protection and now they feel guilty....
And the MC has to do all the work.

I think she was abused or mistreated by her step mother and no one really cared so she got really depressed and made multiple suicide attempts
