...what is this? I'm all for sarcy and dark humour but it's not really that funny. Is he really in love with her or he just feels sorry for her coz she reminds him of his former self and he just trying to make her happy. It's kinda depressing with all the suicide talk and everything, depression is real and it's obvious she has it but to make it into a story like this in a shoujo style is kinda weird. I hope the story develops better but if he ends up really falling for her and then rejects her coz he is a teacher im gonna be really frustrated.

Personally I can relate to them well with all those dark humor and stuff coz me and my friends talk like this too (and I have anxiety disorder) It's like a way coping up with depression? It's not we're belittling it but it's another way of us accepting out dark thoughts, that it's not bad talking it with other people who feels the same way. I rather like this where she is open about her suicidal thoughts like me specially to someone who accepts her dark thoughts and still with her. It's also a form of support ya know. It's not like we like to always be pitied upon. Sometimes, dark humors likes these helps us to be more alright with our feelings. Tho yeaaaah it's for sure doesn't seem normal to others lololol I had some ecperience where people are calling us weird why we're having fun talking about death lmao

anddd? "rejects her cause he is teacher" And btw just because depression is real doesnt mean that we aren´t allowed to make a story out of it ,in which u kind of give people the hope to still find love or be loved. How is that weird then? Like i said before most stupid and irritating comment ever.. it not only about the "jokes". So my advice to u instead of reading further, read it again lol

I'm lost in your reply. You took a little bit of the sentence and quoted which means you took it out of context. I actually said ' I hope the story develops better but if he ends up really falling for her and then rejects her coz he is a teacher im gonna be really frustrated' you see what you did. I dont want him to reject her at all. I am rooting for them. I can just see where this story is going. As a person who also suffers from depression I am not belittling it at all.

I really do understand. I know its 100% real and of course I know why it's been made in a story as its relatable to many. I just think he is doing this out of pity for her coz he sees himself in her. When he openly tells his student hes in love with her I feel like 'are u really' but then he goes a pulls back from touching when shes gives him a nice smile (i think in these cases he is really falling for her) I have no problem with age gap loves nor student teacher loves, the more the obstacle the better. Obviously there probably is a dark story behind which we haven't seen yet.

Ahhh I see well there's not much of his POV yet so he I get you when he seems suspicious and I sometimes think that too but I think him caring for her is real. But maybe he is conflicted because he is a teacher and she is his student (a veeery cliche trope in shoujo mangas yes) Well I do hope so too that there'll be more answers as the story progresses! .. that advisor guy what did he mean when he said there was another candidate to be in charge if soowon cant (other than Yona) I hate his thought dialogue so much. He thought 'the only reason we involved Yona was to get the 4 dragons under soo won' that bastard how dare he. These are the very people who didnt even believe in the red dragon king and 4 dragons. I hope they sort this out soon coz its staring to feel abit itchy with how shes treating Hak. I know she did that coz she didnt want him to notice how sick soo won is.

i disagree. he didn't have a political mindset but rather a biased and self-absorbed one. he doesn't wanna admit that yona has the capabilities to be a candidate to the throne cause his belief has always been directed towards soowon and yuhon. if shit didn't break loose yuhon without a doubt would've been king with soowon as an heir. he basically disregards yona's existence as a member of the main royal family (the branch that holds the throne). fucking bullshit but i get where he's getting at

yuhon was the perfect candidate before he met yonghi. although i can't really say everything would've been great had he not met her because that would've changed the entire story altogether. the reason why he became psychotic was because of his obsessive desire to protect his wife. doesn't really justify his actions, but it does give some sense. if there weren't so much misunderstandings with the priest, kashi, and il, he could've risen to the throne with yonghi and not shed a single drop of blood. really, his demise was all a big mess of awful timings and inconsistencies

Yeah but you cant say 'if he never met Yonghi' that part of him was always there. The point being that if he affected emotionally by something he goes berserk and is unreasonable and that isnt something good in a leader/king. He did meet yonghi and that part of him was exposed hence the reason why he wasnt made king. Then this guy went ahead and killed Kashi (yonas mum) because she was from that priests church or sect. He was killed as repentance for that so for them now saying they were right to take away the throne is wrong. Clearly so even more now as soo won is too sick to keep his stolen crown.

yes i can because i'm speaking in a perse sense. even though everything happened as so there are chances that it couldn't have happened because that's how stories work. but that's not my point. i focusrd on the what-if's of yuhon had fate been good to him cause he hell ass could've been a better king than il.
also the very concept of king il's death and soowon's revolution is to represent a grayscale within a plot. yuhon killed people out of emotion so soowon's conviction to kill king il and take the throne is wrong? so that means king il having had the throne is wrong as well. il isn't any different from yuhon because not only did he push his desperate beliefs of the crimson dragon king and kill his own brother, he's also allowed his citizens to perish by remaining as king. a man who draws blood is a dangerous ruler. but a man who chooses not to draw blood is a poisonous ruler.
so no. them saying they were right to take the throne is not wrong. because king il's decision to stay on the throne isn't right either.

I see your points and u make good ones but I just have a different opinion on it. By saying what if isnt really relevant because that is what happened. Even if king Il didnt kill yuhon like he did, what would have happened? Yuhon would have taken the crown from him by killing him himself eventually. By saying that it's likely yona would have still been awoken by hatred and revenegence and the red dragon within her would emerge still because that is the story. King Il believing in dragons was infact correct because that is what this whole story is about. It's like you are writing a different story one where king yuhon rules and his is a great ruler ok then what? No yuhon and soo won? Its not a manga I would read.
...think they should have ended it after the last arc. The last 2 updated chapters is just starting a new arc with a new love rival for MCs... I feel like dropping this.
