Even though im a closeted bi girl, this comic made me reflect on my life. I see myself in Hiyori, always wanting to take care of everyone not realizing I never took care of myself. And I love how the comic depicted their relationship as a simple love story, no complicated issues or anything, just some misunderstandings that with the help of his friends, made him realize that those were just, misunderstandings. There's one difference Hiyori and I have, its that I do not have friends like his, parents like his, and a lover like his. He is living the life I've always yearned, yet never and possibly will never have. This comic made me realize how lonely I really am despite being in a good place, I am currently a 2nd year uni student, have friends but do not have people I can talk to about my problems, I have a fear of them laughing it off or brushing it aside, just like Hiyori feared with his confession. I don't know when I'll maybe experience the love story I've always wanted, but atleast with this comic I had realized how empty my life has really been, studying and stressing, that I never took care of myself. I dont know, I sure hope the future is bright.

if I was still in highschool I would fw this, but after being AHEM a veteran of BL manwhas and mangas alike, I kinda just cringe every panel because the dialogs are off and very happy to go lucky and their eyes look in other directions its distracting me, the story isn't even that good its your cliche nerd pres helps popular player boy then they fall inlove.
