Wtf? Why would you slap a guy who rejected your confession because he already likes someone? I hate that kind of girls the most. As a girl myself, it makes me ashamed. People think it's not big deal but what if it was opposite? What if the guy slapped the girl because of the same reason? Then I'm sure everyone would cuss at him and hate him. That's why they say, Don't do something that you don't want to happen to you too.

I don't blame Nao. He isn't completely blameless but still realistically speaking, very few people can accept their sexuality. On top of that his parents were also really strict and pushy and that lead him to deny it more. It's like when people breakup or when someone you loved or cared about died, there are people who still won't be able to get over it for years but under same circumstances there are people who'll move on from that within a few days. That doesn't meam that they loved the person any less but it's just their adaptability is quite high and they can see the fact as it is and face it instead of denying it or running away. Nao is the former. I think I'm the latter but still that doesn't mean I don't understand the former type.

Why did you do tha- well whatever what better can I expect from these isekai FLs. We rarely get to see smart FLs who actually take good decisions and aren't oblivious af. So I'll just lower my expectations.

It's because smart MC are almost non existent. Sometimes some author give us the illusion of a smart MC, but it's often fake. It's easy to make someone seem smart when the world revolve around them.
Like if a MC have medical knowledge then how about making a world that doesn't have any good medical knowledge?
Or if the MC is a good cook, how about making a world that only somehow know how to cook crap to eat?
Honestly, while i do enjoy reading isekai story, one thing i really miss is having MC feel like they are part of the world, instead of feeling like the world revolve around them, which is often the case with isekai story.
Here comes the 2nd ML
