I tried so much to like this series. It was interesting at first and art is really good but mc is just a bland mary sue with a bit of a victim complex. There is a lack of chemistry between her and the mls. Heck There's more chemistry between the mls than with her. Even her brother seems more interesting than her - he makes a good anti hero.

I'm Team Lucas. I bet Blake is Cain - he also gives me the ick at the way he is really forceful when doing the deed. an experienced mc with an inexperienced ml is a cuter dynamic. I love how they are both sassy and hillarious. But wtf is up with the translations from ch16-22. Reads like a "Milady" nice guy with an English major trying to emulate Shakespeare. Using big words and synonyms to sound smart only to disrupt the flow of conversation and lose the active voice? Or Was that the original tone of the korean author coz other chapters aint like it.

Welp theory confirmed - he was raped, plain & simple. This is why it's never good to judge the ML before knowing his full story. This explains why he was a jerk & has always distanced himself from the Queen until FL took over her body and started to respect his boundaries.

He’s a tsundere and FL is dense & had a possible past love she isn’t over yet but raws does not reveal if it was a platonic or romantic love. they continue to bicker after he realises his feelings but ML protects her, gets jealous and even shields her from the rain. Get ready to die of diabetus bc this is the sweetest enemies to lovers story there is.
