I think I'm the only one who likes the ending. It's not that I really like it but I think it's the ending that suits the story. The mc is beyond repair. He's way too broken and his only comfort now is the ml. They look that they moved on on the outside but deeply inside, they are still stuck in the past. It's sad and fvcked up but it happens.
Every time I re-read this, I always wish that they get the right help that they needed during those hard times to avoid becoming what they are in now
