This one actually starts off pretty good, but then the talk about virginity comes up and then the story goes down the hill...
In general virginity is overrated imo. But if sb views their virginity as sth important, that their thing, it shouldn't be told so by another person like what the ml did. All his talk about her virginity got me so much on the nerves!!!!!
And becoming a mother, a wife and a queen are all totally different things. One could be good at sth, but not the other. Just because she was pregnant forcing her into everything is fucked up! All they initially wanted was being lovers for a period of time. So, when the pregnancy happened, they should have discussed their options and decisions together, not so one-sidedly...
The outcome might have been the same, but the path totally different.
But those points are so common in Harlequin mangas, that I subconsciously ignore them...

You can't force sb to trust you neither can you force yourself to trust sb else.
Instead of harassing her, forcing kisses on her, kidnapping her and telling her much they lust for each other, he should have shown her reasons to trust her. Imo he was just after her body not her heart or he thought if she gives him her body, her heart will follow automatically...

The only negative points about the ML is that he blackmailed her, other that he was a pretty good guy. For Harlequin standard, he is actually pne of the top tier ML.
He came out to pretty quickly, she didn't have to suffer to know about his past. Before confessing to her, he showed her his vulnerable side that's very important imo for a healthy relationship.
I really loved the FL! She really is a strong and realistic person and isn't easily swayed away by the ML.
In general, I loved their chemistry. In the beginning he was very pushy, but she always resisted and didn't fall in love suddenly. And he was always taken aback by her responses, which was cute to see. Both of them had their tragic past as usual, but it was nice to see how they truly overcame it with each other's help with no unnecessary drama.
What I love the most is the humor in this manga, which is practically nonexistent in harlequins. Their conversations, especially her responses, were awesome. The bond between the sister and the ml is a cherry on top!
This story could have been delivered much better, if they didn't squeeze everything in one volume, but that's Harlequin... Now I really want to read the novel!
He is shit! He is the one who broke up with her and he's a well-known whore. So how could she trust him and tell him she was pregnant?
After seeing the son, he should have talked to her and not blame her stupidly! She was working hard and raising the kid well. Instead of showing her that she can trust him to be a good partner and a good father for their child, he chooses to force everything...
ikr i hate this type of ML so much i want to punch him through the screen. i can't believe they get a happy ending. i was hoping she'd still leave his ass or sumn like that
