i stopped reading this for like 5 months and i come back and practically nothing has happened. she’s told one more person from her past about her identity. war is brimming. i just feel like 96 chapters is long enough for her to have also made some progress on summoning the male lead. seems to me that this will be a 200+ chapter manwha at this rate which sucks.
i’m going to assume that when this war happens, some terrible thing will go on where fmc NEEDS to summon the male lead, and she’ll successfully do it and shock the whole wide world or smth. otherwise, i don’t know when it will be woven into the story.
this feels like it has eons upon eons of filler (literally at least 20 chapters of background story). the main character is in a literal bubble in a fight having these revolutionary realizations for 10+ chapters, yet we barely see it.
i think there have been a million opportunities for his “darker” and stronger self to pull through here and at least make a dent in this long ass fight, yet all we get is the mc being all like “i am NOT a coward. i can DO SOMETHING!” cmon bruh its FUN to have him go a little crazy every once and a while. why write in an alter ego if youre not going to present it?? i get the whole “mc needs to get strong without the help of his ego!” but like these are dire times?? we can worry about his little mental evolutions when they’re not all about to die???
this has the potential to be so fun to read but it’s just not being done well. i hope to see it improve in the coming chapters now that so much backstory is out of the way.

It gets worse, I’m not gonna spoil because you’ve probably seen it here or you don’t wanna know but, he gets worse and worse as this story goes on from what I know. You might just wanna let it sit for awhile before coming back. He’s just gonna self destruct for a good while ╥﹏╥
