people are hating on ray for being "relieved" ... he wasn't... he loved ian just not in a way that ian wanted his love reciprocated... also should i mention i almost broke down when he said it's better this way... like it's meaning that he wants ian to have the life he deserves and he's happy now because now ian will be happy but their love was so beautiful at times i just can't believe this is happening please someone console me this is genuinely hurting me i don't know why maybe ash & eiji vibes?
this comment section is really all over the place. one thing, however, that is unified is wanting yahwi to be with jooin for the moment. jooin said it correctly: the problem is that yahwi doesn't even know there's a problem. he'll say what he needs to say in order for things to go his way and that's the entire problem with his personality. he's stuck with jooin this entire time because jooin is the only one in his entire life who has shown him pure love. he was innocent and had no ulterior motives in wanting to become his friend and that has never happened before. unfortunately, yahwi didn't know how to take this and essentially used jooin for his own benefit (keeping people away from him and sex) but every single time jooin openly showed him there was a problem with their relationship (because all jooin wants is just a good healthy relationship- poor boy) yahwi was shocked and then (here's what i think) just denied it. there's never been a problem like this in his life, he doesn't know how to think through it or act, and there's no one there to teach him (not that he'd even ask for help anyways) so he denied there was even a problem with their relationship and continued as normal, and when saying hurtful things, he didn't understand how insensitive it was. overall, that's why i think yahwi acts why he acts. i am not a human emotion researcher or whatever so don't even quote me on any of it. now i'd like to get on with cain. cain is... good. he is a good fit for jooin at the moment. someone to comfort him and talk to, which is something we all need in our life. right now, jooin is really struggling, he really really genuinely does love yahwi and he doesn't know how to comprehend the fact that yahwi cant reciprocate those feeings, and thankfully cain is there to help him through this. however, the author is 100% hinting towards some huge plot twist, where cain turns to be someone/something we the readers never imagined. cain has a very particular backstory and i'm not quite sure why he has such an obsession with jooin (he's supposedly supposed to cains master) but there is definitely something more to his story. how did he know where jooin would be? how did he know what jooin would look like? etc. cain says at one point "i'm sorry jooin.." which heavily implies he's hiding something big from jooin, presumably something bad, and i hope that this won't hurt jooin but i'm not a mind reader so i'm very very interested to see where the rest of the story goes!!!
before i start with my rant, tw// sexual assault, and trauma
so i originally started this manga because i liked how the uke looked. once seme kissed seiichirou and he had that kind of reaction i was like oh okay i see what's going on there's some sexy shit. (keep in mind i was still skeptical as to why the seme got turned off by people begging, but i assumed this would be solved with a simple conversation) so i kept reading. this is very much so have a psychological tag, there's a lot going on here and it's well written but just a tad chaotic. so before i get into the sexual assault scene, i have seen a lot of people saying they want to punch the seme because he's trash and whatnot and i just want to explain something. the seme has MASSIVE childhood trauma. imagine, at five years old or something, your mom refusing to tell you that she loved you while all you did was tell her that you loved her? although it may not impacted him growing up (this happens with most childhood trauma cases, i would know, i have a spicy childhood too) it often will come out when a person is maturing, and as we can see with the seme, he's had lots of sex. now what this has to do with sex is the fact that many kinks or turn offs actually have a lot to do with our own childhood experiences. (e.g: if you were mostly ignored as a child, you might be into exhibitionism, because of the fact that you want people to "see" you) yes, it's crazy, but that's the human mind for you. so the author took a lot of consideration into this assault scene which btw RESPECT because not everyone does, it's usually just somewhat of a disgusting turn on for people. and, i am in no way shape or form trying to defend the seme's actions during this scene, i'm just delving into the mechanics behind it, and explaining why he did it. anyways. it's obvious he liked the uke, but once triggered (a trigger can be anything, smell, view, sound, literally anything that your brain will associate with your trauma) the seme went into an episode, where he acted on impulse and did such in fear. ahhh i'm getting tired so i might explain more later but for now gngn
