His jealousy is so dirty and awful I can't even feel sorry for him, even though he has a lousy life.
I think that it shows pretty well how imperfect his feelings are towards yuri...
Ehh..I just want to say that it actually becomes clearer in the next chapter that he isn't such a bad character and knows that his jealousy isn't right..
Seriously? Wow, VASTLY different interpretation of this latest chapter than I had. I just found out I was right all along about how much an ASSHOLE Yuri is. Yuri is like, oh, I can't believe you said that after I did SO much for you, as if he was expecting some kind of reward for his so called 'good deeds', when he didn't EVEN REALIZE THAT DONG GYUNG was being bullied? How does what he's done even stack up as being a good deed when you compare it to what he HASN'T done??? Seriously, part Swedish, here, and this lack of compassion for the victim and compassion for the asshole is still sickening.
He wished death on Yuri because Yuri totally unknowingly (seeing as it was all hidden from him) egged on the bullying from other girls who were also just jealous, and because he was jealous of Yuri's good life.
Swedish welfare isn't about stilling your jealousy of the people earning more money, it's about getting help when you ask for it. It's not the higher ups looking at poor people being all "aaw you poor thing", but it's everyone having the same right to free education and healthcare, everyone has the same right to *ask for* subsidy, as long as it's motivated by a good reason, everyone starts from the beginning with the same basis. I'd say the only people who get more welfare than the average swede are refugees and homeless people(but they still need to kind of ask for it cos we suck in that area).
Yuri also has a right to be treated as a friend, because he treats (Dong-Gyung??) as a friend. He needed to accept Yuri's help instead of being jealous over Yuri not needing any help.
but now I like him a lot. He wanted what was best for Jaerim, but when Jaerim made his own decision he let him go. Technically him and Jaerim would have a "healthier" relationship, but Yuri really needs someone like Jaerim too.
